Congratulations Senior Team Player Andy Wright
County Seniors player Andy Wright (Long Ashton GC) won the Cyprus Seniors Open at Aphrodite Hills PGA National played over 36 holes on 23rd and 24th September.
After missing out on the Southern Counties Foursomes finals at Ely City, Andy scored 72 and 77 over the two rounds to win by 3 shots. There was a large entry for this event with players representing most European countries and from as far away as USA.
If any other Gloucestershire Seniors are interested in entering this event, details of next year’s championship will soon be available on line.
