Conditions of Play, Qualification, Entry and Prizes.
1. Conditions of Play
d. The Seniors’ County Stableford Final shall be a stableford played over 18 holes
e. The final will comprise of two categories, one for players with a handicap index of up to 12.4 and the other for players with a handicap index of 12.5 – 28.0.
2. Qualification
a. To qualify for the Seniors’ County Stableford Final, competitors must win the qualifying competition at their home club
i. Must be affiliated to a club within the GGU at the time of the Final
ii. If the winner of the club’s qualifying competition is not able to participate in the Seniors’ County Stableford Final, then the club can offer the final spot to the next best placed player up until a replacement is found
iii. If a finalist moves above the limit of 28.0 after qualifying, their playing handicap in the County Final will be limited to the equivalent of a 28.0 handicap index.
b. Order of Play and Starting Times will be sent to competitors via email if provided
3. Prizes and Vouchers
a. The winner shall be the competitor who returns the highest Stableford score over 18 holes and will receive the Champion’s Medal to keep
b. There are prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each of the divisional competitions
4. Practice rounds
a. Practice round arrangements will be communicated to competitors together with tee time allocations
