Centenary Invitation Day
On Tuesday 6th July, 24 clubs from across Gloucestershire took part in the Centenary Invitation day at Henbury Golf Club. It was a sunny but windy day which made for difficult scoring conditions. The format of the day was the best 2 from 4 stableford points on each hole.
In first place with a team score of 86 points were Rodway Hill’s, David Matthews, Steve Yemm, Carol Lane & Robert Bolt. Just 1 point behind with 85 points were Long Ashton’s team of Nick Ring, Brian Hughes, Martin Caulfield & Gareth Morgan. In third and a further point back were Broadway's team of Dereck Buttler, Paul Wragby, Sheila Lawson & Geoff Doran. Well done to all the winners and thank you to everyone who took part.
