England Golf Champion of Champions Tournament - 14 - 15 September 2024
Three Gloucestershire County Champions played in the EG Champion of Champions tournament on the Hotchkin Course at Woodhall Spa.
They were ... Nick Day (Henbury) Mens County Champion, Ken Madden (Lansdown) Seniors County Champion and Leo Powell (Ross on Wye) Boys County Champion.
The competition was played over 36 holes strokeplay for all three. Leo played 36 on Saturday, Nick played 36 on Sunday and Ken played 18 on Saturday followed by another 18 on Sunday.
Sadly none of our players were in the prizes but all three played well and enjoyed the experience. Especially Nick who got his total score to -2 after 9 holes of the second round.
