It's great news that you want to take part in some of our County Competitions. Click on each one below for more details about the event. If you are looking to take part in county-wide opens then please take a look at our diary. Plus, test your skill levels by competing against other golfers in events that form our Orders of Merit in the Duchess Salver and the  Jeff Hall (under 18s) events.

COUNTY GOLF DAYS 2022

These are competitions open to all male playing members of golf clubs affiliated to the Gloucestershire Golf Union. The cost per day of £35 per person is all inclusive of 36 holes of golf (Greensomes in the morning and 4BBB in the afternoon) plus light lunch and two course dinner with prizes.

Ever wondered about playing at County level?

Grabbing the attention of our County Team Managers can be summed up very easily… play as well as you can in as many of our County Ranking events as possible!

Each year, there are over seventy events that form part of our County Ranking system, ranging from Junior Opens at each of our clubs, to International Open events at Men’s level where the very best amateurs in the world are competing. Find out more about playing at County level. 

Parental Consent  - Where applicable, junior championship entries must be supported with a completed parental consent form with our assurance that the information you provide will be treated as confidential.
